Webhooks

Supportbench supports webhooks (also called a web callback or HTTP push API) and is a way for an app to provide other applications with real-time information. A webhook delivers data to other applications as it happens, meaning you get data immediately. Unlike typical APIs where you would need to poll for data very frequently in order to get it real-time. This makes webhooks much more efficient for both provider and consumer.

Supportbench supports 3 webhooks and are sent durring workflow actions.

  1. Case webhook
  2. Company webhook
  3. Contact webhook

Setup a webhook

  1. Create a new workflow and go into Configuration → Workflows.

  2. Choose when the webhook will fire.

  3. Add a new action “Send to URL (Webhook)”

  4. Choose your webhook options (your webhook must be an HTTPS endpoint)
