Clearbit provides powerful data APIs that helps get the most recent information on contacts and your companies. 

Integration features

• Automatically pull the latest information on new contacts.
• Create new companies from contacts that have contacted you that is not yet within Supportbench.
• Automatically update a contacts information when updating them.
• Manually pull the latest data on companies and contacts.

How to get your Clearbit API credentials

1. Go to Clearbit.com and log into your dashboard.
2. On the left hand menu bar, click on API.
3. Your API key should be listed.  This is what you use to enable the Supportbench data pulling.

How to install the integration

1. Login to Supportbench and click on Configuration in the top menu bar.
2. Scroll down to Integrations and click on Clearbit.
3. Enter your API key and select the options you want.

Integration options

Synchronize new contacts
Whenever a new contact is created within Supportbench with a valid email address, Supportbench will pull and save their latest information from Clearbit.

Synchronize existing contacts when updating
Whenever a contact is updated that contains a valid email address, Supportbench will pull and save their latest information from Clearbit. *note that existing saved information for them will be overwritten.

Create companies from new contacts
When new contacts that have a found company associated within Clearbit are found, Supportbench will create that company and auto-associate them to that contact. *A note this might cause duplicates if your current companies do not have domains assigned to them yet.
