Email-Based Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Overview

Two-Factor Authentication now supports verification codes sent via email in addition to SMS.

Why This Matters

Email-based 2FA provides:

• A reliable alternative to SMS

• Improved accessibility for international teams

• Backup authentication method if SMS fails

• Reduced dependency on mobile carrier delivery

How It Works

When 2FA is enabled:

1. Enter your username and password

2. Choose your preferred verification method

3. Receive a verification code via:

   • SMS (existing option)

   • Email (new option)

4. Enter the code to complete login

Security Note

Email verification codes are time-sensitive and expire shortly after being issued to maintain security standards.
